Hot

Simply amazing. Everything is fine as long as I stay in my air conditioned house, right? Then I have to go outside, even for something as minor as walking down the driveway to check the mail, which usually arrives between 2:00 and 3:00 in the afternoon. By the time I get there, both hands are tingling and I'm wobbling. It's like instant. An hour ago the temperature was 64. Now it is 72. By lunchtime it will be mid-80's, by late afternoon will be about 90. God I hate the Deep South in the summer...and it has just begun.

I'm with ya on that one Anne! You should try this godforsaken place called Texas!

Miserable, just miserable.

We're having a warm spell in the Pacific Northwest, but with none of that dreaded humidity! Anne, use a cane when you get the mail - then you won't worry about falling. When the worry's gone you'll feel better, whether you do or not! Just like you feel better when you look better. I'm sure the highlights in your hair brighten your face.

Same here dear, same here. Our weather is ALL over the place. Hang in there. Also, had to sign up for blogging in order to follow, so here is a link to my blog. I am not a very good writer, but one way for all of us to keep up with one another.

Be well dear,

Glenn, honestly, I've been to Texas twice in my life and could not get out quick enough. Atlanta is a bear but I'm sure Texas heat would put me in my grave. Seriously.

Webster, good advice. And thank you for the compliment...it's nice to hear the price is worth it (holy cow that's expensive).
